iOS 12.2 Beta 3 Update is released for developers testing, with new features the update will resolve the infamous Group Facetime security bug. Apple also had worked on four new Animoji characters a Giraffe, Shark, Owl, and Boar that can be used in Messages and in Facetime app to create simple yet amazing animated faces with sound. The new characters are only compatible with devices that have TrueDepth hardware and Face ID.
The update modifies the Homekit and Apple TV Remote app adding a dark interface. The same goes for Control Centre Tile. Apple News has been replaced with News, and users can now easily find a device model name in the About Menu of Settings.
The update also fixes a tiny cosmetic bug where iPhone Charge indicator was displayed on the lock screen instead of time. Safari gets some additional privacy protection, the browser now shows Not Secure message if you are visiting an unencrypted website.
iOS 12.2 Beta 3 Update carries many minor changes which work on the UI part of the operating system. For example, a new Airplay icon will be replacing the old one after the update. One big change that makes this update really important is getting Group FaceTime back.
