On Monday, January 11, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli shared the big news of the arrival of their baby daughter and the fans are awaited to see the first picture of Virushka’s newborn. Amid this, the couple issued an official statement and urged the paparazzi to not click pictures of their daughter for privacy concerns.
The statement was sent to the paparazzi circle in Mumbai, “Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support.”
“While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,” read the statement.
According to the latest media reports, Anushka gave birth to her daughter at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai and no visitors, flowers or gifts were allowed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple announced their pregnancy in August 2019 on social media. Virushka got married in 2017.
