Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the most adored celebrity couples all over the world. The couple’s romantic social media posts always show that they are head over heels in love with each other. Their story began on the sets of a shampoo advertisement in 2013 after which they fell in love, got married, and are now proud parents to a baby girl. On Anushka’s birthday, here’s a look back at their love story.

Virat and Anushka made their relationship official in 2014. The two made their first public appearance together that same year in November when they were spotted cheering at an Indian Super League football game in Pune. The couple made headlines when Virat blew a kiss to Anushka, who was spotted sitting in the stands of India’s game against Sri Lanka at Hyderabad.

Soon after, Anushka was repeatedly blamed and trolled each time Virat underperformed on the pitch. While the actress chose to mostly remain mum on the issue, the Indian skipper took to social media to shame the trolls. In 2016, the couple had allegedly broken up. Soon after they were seen together at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding in Goa.

Later, the couple were often spotted vacationing today and after dating for a long time, the two decided to tie the knot and jetted off to Italy and got married on 11 December 2017 which took everyone by shock. Their wedding was a close affair with their families and close friends. The couple later hosted grand wedding receptions in Mumbai and Delhi, which saw the convergence of several Bollywood and cricket stars. Their pictures had left many fans teary-eyed.
