The second wave of the novel COVID-19 has hit India hard. Many television celebrities have been testing positive. On Friday, Rupali Ganguly who is best known as television’s ‘Anupamaa’, has tested positive for the Coronavirus and is in home quarantine. The announcement was made by the actress on social media.
Sharing a picture of herself, she penned a long note, that read as: “MA Corona Devi 🙏🏻Tu hai ki nahiiiii 💔💔 ( mild to asymptomatic) Ye kya hua kaise hua kab hua. Along with Rupali, Ashish Mehrotra who essays the role of Anupamaa’s elder son on the show has also tested positive. The producer of the show, Rajan Shahi also issued a statement and said that Rupali is taking all precautions and is under home quarantine.
