Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota’s Mother Kamla Jalota Passes Away at 85
The mother of Anup Jalota has breathed her last in Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital on Friday
Anup Jalota is currently mourning as his mother has breathed her last in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital on Friday morning. At the time of her death, Anup Jalota’s mother Kamla Jalota was 85-years old. The Bhajan Samrat who rose to fame with TV show Bigg Boss 12 had earlier revealed that he was very close to his mother.

When he was evicted from the Bigg Boss 12, he directly went to visit her mother. In an interview to BollywoodLife, He had said, “Post my exit, I went straight to visit my mom, who is 85 years old. The first thing she asked me is who is Jasleen. I told her that she is a ghost and there was nothing of that sort.”
The reason of Anup Jalota’ death is still unknown. It is to be noted that Anup Jalota had lost his wife due to the liver problem in 2014. She had a heart and kidney transplant. At the time of his wife’s demise, she was 59.
Days back, Anup Jalota was in the US where he met Rishi Kapoor who has been undergoing treatment in the US. He posted the picture of him along with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor on Instagram.
Anup Jalota belongs to Nainital, Uttarakhand. He is considered to be one of the best Bhajan singers in India. His father Purushottam Das Jalota was also a popular bhajan singer from the Sham Chowrasi Gharana of Punjab.
