The Architecture

Mukesh Ambani’s luxurious mansion is inspired by the mythical Atlantic island, it is considered as the iconic house in India. The mansion is located in South Mumbai (Altamount Road in Cumballa Hill), which is estimated to be the world’s second-highest expensive property. It was designed by the Chicago-based architects, Perkins and Will. And it was constructed by the company Leighton Holdings. The mansion has 27 floors, replete with extra-high ceilings. As per the reports, the residence can survive an earthquake of 8 on the Richter scale. Every floor is the same height as an average two-storeyed building.

The Temple

Just like every other Indian family, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani too have a beautiful temple in their house. It’s a mega-temple, with a beautiful sculpture of Radha-Krishna and it is designed with marble artwork and other craftworks. The interiors in the temple makes it look larger than life with just so perfect ambiance. Ambani’s are spiritual-minded with a simple heart.

The mansion is the host of guest suites, a salon, an ice-cream parlor and a private movie theatre that can accommodate 50 people. Each floor serves a specific function, which has drawing rooms, kitchens, recreational rooms, prayer rooms, swimming pools and the ball-rooms.

The mansion has three exclusive helipads. For those from the family who wish to be airdropped at the Antilia, it has three special helipads on the roof.

Cost and Valuation

Antilia is the world’s most expensive private home, the 4,00,000 square foot house costs a whopping price approximately between 2 -3 billion dollars. According to the property trends, per square foot of any real estate on Altamount Road ranges between a massive Rs 80,000 to Rs 85,000.
