Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu are coming together for horror-comedy Annabelle Sethupathi. This is the first film they are sharing screen space for. Ahead of the film’s release, the Makkal Selvan took to Twitter to unveil the first-look poster. He also announced the release date of the supernatural drama.
Sharing the poster, Vijay Sethupathi also announced that the movie will be streaming on Over-the-top (OTT) platform Disney+Hotstar.

The poster showcases Vijay Sethupathi sporting a royal look in a sherwani. Taapsee Pannu looks regal in a gown with a headband.
Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu started shooting for the horror-comedy in 2020 in Jaipur. Annabelle Sethupathi is directed by Deepak Sundarrajan. It is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaraman under the banner of Passion Studios. The movie also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Devadarshini, Madhumita, Subbu Panchu, Yogi Babu and Rajendra Prasad. The movie will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on September 17, 2021, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. In Hindi, it is titled Anabelle Rathore.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi also has Vikram with Kamal Haasan and Laabam. While Taapsee Pannu will be seen in Blurr, Shabaash Mithu, Rashmi Rocket and Looop Lapeta.
