Legendary screenwriter duo, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar are known for making great contributions to Indian cinema. The duo delivered back-to-back hit scripts which lead to many films’ success at the box office. To acknowledge the great work by the writer’s duo, Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and Zoya Akhtar are joining hands. Their production houses- Salman Khan Films, Excel Entertainment, and Tiger Baby Films are collaborating to produce the documentary titled, Angry Young Men. The documentary will feature the chronicles from Salim and Javed’s life.
The documentary is apparently being directed by Namrata Rao and will be co-produced by the banners headed by Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar- Ritesh Sidhwani, and Zoya Akhtar-Reema Kagti. Reportedly, the documentary aims at showcasing how the two screenwriters ruled the glamour world during the ’70s with their writing skills. Film critic, Taran Adarsh made the announcement of the same on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Officially it has not been revealed which platform the makers want to release the documentary on. Salman, Farhad, and Zoya on the other side are also yet to officially comment on the making of the project.
