Ahead of the 14 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Kolkata Knight Riders players and West Indies players- Andre Russell and Sunil Narine have arrived in Mumbai, India. They will be undergoing a mandatory week-long quarantine period before joining the team bio-bubble. The duo flew in from the Caribbean to Mumbai via the USA.

“Whenever you think about the IPL, you think about India, so it’s great to be back. Hopefully we can have a better season than last year,” Sunil Narine said.
Russell addressed the fans and said, “We are closer to you guys now, so… the games are in India. So whether you guys are watching from home or from the stands, we’ll be representing purple and gold. KKR will begin its campaign in Chennai against SunRisers Hyderabad on April 11. The IPL 2021 will kick-start from April 9.
