In an unfortunate turn of events, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya had tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. On July 11th, Big B had shared the update with his fans and the same day they were hospitalised for the treatment. Four of them were under proper medical observations. Earlier today, there were reports that the father and son duo will be discharged from the hospital, as they tested negative for the Coronavirus in their recent tests. However, now senior actor shared an update with his fans stating that these reports are ‘incorrect, irresponsible’.
The star had been seeking COVID-19 treatment from the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. People had reported quoting their sources from Nanavati Hospital that the staff of the hospital conducted a couple of more tests before discharging him. However, the news came out to be fake. The ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ actor tweeted, “…this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!”.
The actor has been quite active on his social media handles, while getting treated for the infection. The 77-year-old was seen expressing his gratitude towards fans for wishing for his family members’ speedy recovery. We hope that the father and son duo recovers soon.
On the work fronts, Big B was last seen sharing the screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in comedy flick, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ which released on OTT platform during the lockdown. The actor has another film in the pipeline ‘Brahmastra’ for the release. However, due to the pandemic lockdown, the release dates of Bollywood films have been delayed.
