Watch: Amitabh Bachchan’s Maa song is a tribute to all the mothers

Ahead of Mother’s Day, Amitabh Bachchan has come up with a heart touching song that has been crooned by him and Anuj Garg’s son Yajat Garg. The song is titled ‘Maa’. Big B took to his Twitter handle to announce it and share the song among his fans. Sharing the song he wrote, “Tomorrow on Mother’s Day a small tribute under Shoojit Sircar’s creation, Anuj Garg’s music, his son’s voice, lyrics by Puneet Sharma .. and my voice!

In another tweet, Mr. Bachchan requested his fans to put their headphones, switch off the lights, to be alone with their thoughts.

In the song we get to hear piano music, guitar and child artist Yajat Garg voice will surely turn you nostalgic. Big B’s voice in the latter half of the song is like a cherry on the cake. His lines say no matter how old a child grows, he/she will be always the same for his/her mother and the love will never decrease.

The video has many images of mothers with their children and the last image is of Amitabh Bachchan’s late mother Teji, and the video ends with the line that read as: “You are still with me, mom. Happy Mother’s Day.”
