Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has donated Rs 2 crore to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid care centre at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi. The Shahenshah of Bollywood has also arranged oxygen cylinders from abroad for the facility. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee Manjinder Singh Sirsa thanked the veteran actor for his contribution.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, took to social media to share the news and wrote, “‘Sikhs are Legendary, Salute To Their Service’. These were the words of Amitabh Bachchan when he contributed Rs 2 crore to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Facility (sic). While Delhi was grappling for Oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this Facility (sic)”

The facility at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara opens on Monday (May 10). It will have 300 beds, oxygen concentrators, doctors, paramedics, and ambulances. All the services will be provided to patients free of cost.
Big B also took part in the Vax Live event on Sunday and also shared a 2.8-minute video on his Twitter handle. He requested the world to come forward and help India in its fight against the deadly virus.
