On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan and his son-actor tested positive for Coronavirus. The father-son due are admitted to Nanavati Hospital. Now, as per the latest update from the hospital, it states, that they are ‘stable’ and ‘feeling better.’
Dr. Abdul Samad Ansari, director of Critical Care Services at the hospital, on Sunday said, “Both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek are comfortable and feeling better. General blood chemistries are acceptable with stable vitals. Both slept well and had their breakfasts. They are stable,” Ansari told PTI.
Soon after Big B and Abhishek tested positive, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and 8-year-old Aaradhya Bachchan were also tested positive for coronavirus and are quarantined at home. However, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, including all the staff members have been tested negative.
Confirming the same, AB took to his Twitter, on Sunday and wrote, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers 🙏🏽”
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed all four bungalows- Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak, and Vatsa, after sanitization, of the Bachchan’s family and declared as containment zones.
On Monday, Big B took to his Twitter to express gratitude to all his fans for their prayers.“T 3591 – … to them that have expressed their concern, their prayers and their wishes for Abhishek Aishwarya Aaradhya and me .. my unending gratitude and love ..❤️

In yet another tweet, the actor wrote,“T 3592 – It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me ..I put my hands together and say ..🙏
Thank you for your eternal love and affection ..”
