Amit Shah sings old songs during campaign in Gwalior

BJP president Amit Shah stumbled and fell while alighting from a vehicle after his roadshow in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

After paying a tribute to Tantia Tope in Madhya Pradesh, BJP Chief Amit Shah took part in various events in the politically sensitive Gwalior-Chambal division of the poll-bound state.

Tantia Tope was a general in the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and one of its notable leaders.

While addressing to party workers in Gwalior Amit Shah urged netizens to vote for Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in the coming Assembly election. He asserted that the Modi government will retain power in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Shah also mentioned the world’s biggest health scheme Ayushman Bharat, saying it is going to benefit to almost 50 crore people across the country. In Ayushmant Bharat scheme each family will get up to Rs 5 lakh for their treatment.

While addressing a rally Amit Shah said, BJP is an organisation, whose party workers are spread at every booth of the country and its saffron flag is waving in almost 70 percent parts of the country.

Listing the work done by BJP government so far, Amit Shah said that, “Since Modi government came to power the government has provided gas cylinders to 5 crore people, built 7.5 crore toilets, generated 12.5 crore employment through MUDRA Yojna and gave dream homes to almost 2 crore people across the country.”

While talking about the poll-bound state Madhya Pradesh he said, “Shivraj Sigh Chouhan has done a job to provide 24 hours power supply in the state.”

Amit Shah once again talked about the controversial National Registrar of Citizens (NRC). He said, the party will not deviate and will work in identifying the illegal immigrants in India. Taking a jibe at Congress party he said, “Under their regime, there are thousands of illegal migrants came to India, but, Modi government will pick and throw every single illegal infiltrators from the country.”
