Amit Shah: Opposition suffering from ‘Modi phobia’

Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah said that Opposition suffering from 'Modi phobia' and they have no agenda for the development of the country. 

In an attempt to criticise the opposition parties, including the Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Monday said that opposition is suffering from “Modi phobia”. He was of the opinion that all the opposition parties have no agenda for the development of the country.

Addressing a women’s meeting in Odisha, Shah said that the BJP and its allies are working to transform the country as number one in the world. While the opposition parties have no agenda other than ‘Modi hatao (defeat). He said, “I want to tell the people that the Congress and all opposition parties are working together for breaking India while (prime minister Narendra) Modi-ji is busy in making India.”

Adding on the Shah said that Modi government is seeking to eradicate poverty. He said, “We (BJP) say put an end to insecurity among people, but they (opposition) want removal of Modi. The opposition has no specific agenda, no neta (leader) and no neeti (policy). Their only programme is removal of Modi as they are suffering from Modi phobia.”

Hitting out at the Naveen Patnaik’s, the BJP president said, “The Naveen Patnaik government has lost all rights to continue in power in Odisha even for a second as the state remains backward despite abundant mineral resources.” He also slammed BJD government for rejecting the Centre’s flagship health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat.
