A few days back, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah tested positive for Coronavirus, on August 14, he was discharged from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after testing negative for Covid-19.
The Union Home Minister was previously admitted to AIIMS for post-COVID-19 care after he complained of body aches and fatigue, now, yet again, he has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a complete medical checkup before the parliament session.
“Union Home Minister Amit Shah was discharged from AIIMS after post-COVID care on August 30. As per advice given at discharge, he has now been admitted for a complete medical checkup before the parliament session for 1-2 days: Chairperson, Media & Protocol Division, AIIMS. #Delhi,” tweeted ANI.

The hospital issued an official statement, that read as: “Shri Amit Shah, Honourable Home Minister was discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi, after post Covid care on August 30. As per advise given at discharge, he has now been admitted for complete medical checkup before parliament session for 1-2 days.”
The monsoon session of the parliament will begin on Monday with COVID-19 safety measures.
On Sunday, the total count of COVID-19 cases in India stands at 47,54,357 of which, there are a total of 9,73,175 active cases while 37,02,596 patients have been cured. The death toll in the country rose to 78,586 after 1,114 deaths due to COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours.
