Ranji Trophy: Hardik Pandya makes successful return with five-wicket haul
All-rounder Hardik Pandya made a successful return to cricket from injury as he took five wickets for Baroda in their Ranji Trophy match on Saturday.
He had taken three wickets on the first day, conceding 74 runs and added two more scalps to his kitty on Saturday.
The right-arm bowler had sent back openers Aditya Tare (15) and Vilas Auti (12) early on in the Mumbai innings and had got his third wicket in the form of Shivam Dube (37) on the first day’s play.
On Saturday, he dismissed Akash Parkar (22) and Royston Dias (0) to complete his five-wicket haul as he ended uo conceding 81 runs in all.

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill, one of India’s heroes in their U-19 World Cup triumph earlier this year struck an unbeaten 199 to propel Punjab to 308/2 at the end of the second day’s play against Tamil Nadu.
