Aligarh: Tuition teacher thrashes 7-year-old with shoes
In an appalling incident recently, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a little boy of Class 2 was allegedly hit with a shoe, slapped and punched by his tuition teacher. This horrific incident came to light on November 15, after the boy’s parents checked the CCTV footage of the room, where the boy was tortured. When the parents asked him why there were several blue and black patches on him, it is only then that the boy narrated to his parents about how his teacher assaulted him, say reports.
Ashutosh Dwivedi- senior police officer told news agency ANI, “The video has been recovered. A case has been registered and a team is trying to catch the teacher.”
In the video, the teacher and the boy can be seen seated on two chairs. One can further see that the teacher has a shoe in his hand and is about to beat the boy. He even hits the boy on his knuckles with a key-like sharp object. The ordeal doesn’t end there, the teacher then grabs the boy by his hair and ear and punches him multiple times on his back.
Later, when the cruel teacher finished assaulting the boy, he forced the boy to drink a glass of water and told him to smile. All of this was captured in the five minute video.
This incident took place in a room where the door was shut but the brutality of the teacher was caught on CCTV installed by the child’s father. Talking to news agency ANI, he said, “I am absolutely shocked at what this man did to my child.” He further added, “I have a hardware workshop in the house and the sound of machines meant that no one could hear my son’s cries.”
The boy’s father said that he has filed a police complaint immediately after discovering the footage of the brutality. The accused teacher is currently absconding.
Superintendent of Police (Crime) Ashutosh Dwivedi said, “The video has been recovered. A case has been registered and a team has been formed to nab the teacher.”
