Karan Johar unveils another poster of Alia Bhatt from 'Kalank' on her 26th birthday
The makers of ‘Kalank’ on Friday unveiled the second poster of Alia Bhatt. The actress is looking magnificent as Roop in the second poster. Interestingly, today, Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 26th birthday.
Taking to his Twitter handle, producer Karan Johar shared the second poster of Alia and described Alia’s character as “Courage has never looked this beautiful”. In the poster, amidst a colourful backdrop of what looks like their territory, Alia as Roop looks right in the camera with hopeful eyes. With a small bindi, traditional jhumka and a veil on her head, Alia looks splendid.

Notably, Karan Johar‘s ‘Kalank’ has created a lot of buzz since its inception. It is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles and is directed by Abhishek Varman. The film is set in 1940s. ‘Kalank’ is a story of eternal love and sacrifice set against the back-drop of India-Pakistan partition.
It is to be noted that ‘Kalank’ was earlier supposed to hit the theatres screens on April 19, but now the makers have decided to release it on April 17.
Interestingly, this will be Varun and Alia’s fourth film together. Following their debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’, the two went on to work in two other films ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
