Alia Bhatt opens up on Ranbir Kapoor’s troubled past, says “How does it matter”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor dating each other is not a secret anymore. They are one of the most talked-about couples of the B-town. Before dating Alia, Ranbir was in a relationship with Deepika Padukone and then Katrina Kaif. Recently, at Filmfare awards, Alia announced her love for Ranbir and the two were seen exchanging kisses. In her latest interview with Filmfare, Alia reacted on Ranbir’s troubled past with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

On being asked about on Ranbir’s troubled past, the “Raazi” actress said, “How does it matter? It’s part of someone’s life and who cares. Aur main thodi na kam hoon (I am not less than anyone).” The actress further went on to say that Ranbir is not difficult and he is a gem.

Explaining her bond with Ranbir, Alia said, “It’s not a relationship. It’s a friendship. I’m saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It’s beautiful. I’m walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we’re two individuals, who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now.”

“He’s shooting continuously. So am I. It’s not a situation where you’ll see us constantly together. That’s the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage. In fact, there’s a beautiful book titled My Brilliant Friend. Ranbir’s my brilliant friend,” she concluded.

Interestingly, Ranbir and Alia will share screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra”. The first installment of “Brahmastra” is slated to release this Christmas.
