Ali Wentworth, comedian, and wife of ABC news anchor George Stephanopoulos has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared the news. Sharing a photo of her lying in bed with her dog, she captioned it, “I have tested positive for the Corona Virus. I’ve never been sicker. High fever. Horrific body aches. Heavy chest. I’m quarantined from my family. This is pure misery. #stayhome”.

Earlier on Wednesday, Stephanopoulos revealed on the show “Good Morning America” that Wentworth “developed some symptoms” but he didn’t confirm anything about the virus. He said that he is broadcasting from home and said, “Ali has developed some symptoms so she’s upstairs resting right now,” as reported by Daily Mail.
“But while she’s recovering, as she goes through this, I’m going to be broadcasting from home and we’ll be working as long as we can here,” he said.
We wish Ali Wentworth recovers soon.
