Everyone is eagerly waiting to know when will Mirzapur season 2 to premiere on Amazon Prime Video? Not only the cast and crew but also Amazon Prime Video does not seem to reveal the exact release date of Mirzapur 2 at any time soon.

When Ali Fazal, who played Guddu Bhaiyya in Mirzapur series, was asked when will Mirzapur 2 release, he took the question as a joke and gave a funny reply with Game of Thrones reference: “The Winter is Coming.”

Ali Fazal’s reaction to Mirzapur 2 release date came when he treated his fans to a question-answer session on Instagram. If anything to go by Ali Fazal’s reply, he might be giving us hints that Mirzapur 2 will be released in Winter 2020.
A few days back when Shweta Tripathi, who played Guddu in the first season and will return to Mirzapur 2, was asked Mirzapur 2 Kab Aa Raha Hai? To which she told Koimoi, “The post-production was going on pretty well and on time but because of lockdown it’s stopped right now. I hope everything falls in its place soon. So as of now, there is no guarantee, but I can promise Jab Aaega Tab Bhaikal Zaroor Hoga.”
She further said, “The way I function, is keep working, do good and you will get better than that. Mirzapur 1 or Masaan for that matter, we didn’t think it would blow up like this. With Masaan, it was a film, we did, it was received well and we moved on. But when it comes to a series like Mirzapur, though we loved it because we were a part of it but also as an audience when I saw it I loved every bit of it.”
“When we were shooting the season 2 there was so much pressure that everybody felt. Everyone was invested equally. Generally, when you are shooting, people know what the story is where it will go and so on. But on Mirzapur sets, everybody was intrigued, I have never seen the crew so invested and interested in the plot, “ Shweta Tripathi signed off.
Mirzapur season 1 featured Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, Divyendu Sharma and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Only a few characters will be returning to Mirzapur 2 and Ali Fazal and Shweta Tripathi are two of them.
Mirzapur season 1 ended on a dramatic cliff hanger leaving millions of viewers quite excited to watch Mirzapur 2.
