Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 has been mired in controversy since a long time now. But finally, sharing a picture from the sets, Akshay Kumar and his team have revealed that it is a wrap for the movie. The Khiladi took to his social media handle and shared the news with his fans.
He tweeted, “While we have called it a ‘wrap’ for #Housefull4, fun never ends..See you all in 2019!”
Not only Akki, even Bobby Deol shared a picture and wrote, “A journey that saw me reunite with old buddies & make new ones! And finally it’s a wrap for #Housefull4. Looking forward to see you all in 2019.”
Kriti Sanon thanked Akshay and wrote,“Dilliwaalas with their gummy smiles!! ?? It was such a pleasure working with you sir!! Thank you for being so amazing, so chilled, so funny and soooo punjabi! ?❤️ @akshaykumar your constant urge to add something new to the scenes to make it better is inspiring! ???,” she tweeted.
Housefull 4 revolves around the theme of reincarnation and also features Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Rana Daggubati. The flashback sequences have been shot in Rajasthan and the climax was shot in Mumbai with a few portions in London as well.
The film was initially helmed by Sajid Khan, who stepped down following sexual harassment allegations. The producers in October had announced that Farhad Samji would be taking over the directing duties.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in association with Fox Star India, the film will release around Diwali 2019.
