Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar kickstarts shooting, shares FIRST LOOK

Akshay Kumar has finally kickstarted the shooting of his upcoming film, ‘Ram Setu.’ The ‘Bell Bottom’ actor also shared the first look of his character on his social media handles. He also revealed that he will be essaying the role of an archaeologist in the film.

Sharing the first look, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor captioned it as: “The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Playing an archaeologist in the film. Would love to hear your thoughts on the look? It always matters to me🙏🏻 @Asli_Jacqueline @Nushrratt @Abundantia_Ent @LycaProductions”

In the image, he is seen donning salt-and-pepper long hair along with thin-framed spectacles and kept a clean shave.

A few days back, the entire cast of ‘Ram Setu’ had flown to Ayodhya city in Uttar Pradesh to shoot the mahurat shot of the movie and even sought the blessing of Lord Ram before kickstarting the journey of their upcoming film.

‘Ram Setu’ also features Bollywood actresses Jacqueline Fernandes and Nushrratt Bharuccha as the female leads and it also marks Nushrratt’s first project with Akshay and Jacqueline on the big screen. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma of ‘Tere Bin Laden’ fame.

Apart from ‘Ram Setu,’ Akshay has many films in his pipeline, which include, ‘Sooryavanshi,’ ‘Bell Bottom,’ ‘Bachchan Pandey,’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan.’
