Akshay Kumar’s to play NSA Ajit Doval in Neeraj Pandey’s next?
Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are all set to reunite on the big screen with a film based on National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Doval.
Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey have given several blockbuster movies to Bollywood such as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Baby, Special 26 and Rustom. If the report in Mumbai Mirror to be believed, Akshay and Neeraj are again all to come together for another project based on the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Doval. The film is said to be on the scripting stage and has a long way to go on floors.
The research has already begun but it will take time before the project actually gets in motion. “Neeraj will first make Chanakya with Ajay Devgn, which was announced a few months ago. Akshay also has to complete prior commitments. The team wants to lock the script before making an official announcement,” a source told the leading tabloid.
It’s a crucial role and he would want to finish his ongoing projects first and then take up this one. The scripting of the film has already started but it is going to take a lot of time as the subject demands a lot of research.
On the work front, Akshay was last seen in Kesari opposite Parineeti Chopra and next, he will be seen in Mission Mangal co-starring Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Taapsee Pannu and others and the film will hit the screens on August 15, 2019. Also, Akshay has started shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif and Laxmmi Bomb opposite Kiara Advani.
Before 2019 ends, Akshay has three films lined up for release – Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, and Good News. The actor is all set to start 2020 with a bang with Rohit Shetty’s upcoming directorial Sooryavanshi.
