More and more Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to contribute towards the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic crises. After Sonu Sood sends the migrant workers home through buses and charter planes, Ajay Devgn donates the oxygen cylinders and ventilators for a new hospital in Mumbai.
As per the latest reports in Mumbai Mirror, the ‘De De Pyaar De’ actor paid for all the oxygen cylinders and portable ventilators for a new hospital located in Dharavi(Mumbai). The contribution has been made through his production house, Ajay Devgn Films Foundation (ADFF). This hospital which will serve as a COVID-19 center to treat the patients has been constructed on an unused 4,000-sqm plot belonging to the MMRDA. This plot was actually reserved for Maharashtra Nature Park.
Apparently, Ajay Devgn has also done also provided ration kits to 700 families of Dharavi in order to help the needy in the COVID-19 crises. One of the biggest slums, Dharavi is considered as the hot spot for COVID-19 spreading and there have been strict lockdown rules imposed in the locality. As per the reports, BMC made this hospital in just 15 days to begin the treatment of new patients.
On the work fronts, Ajay Devgn has been gearing up for the release of his interesting films. He has films such as ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Chanakya’ in the pipeline. He will also be seen in a cameo role in Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sooryavanshi’.
