The Drug Angle in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case has been unveiling a number of top-notch Bollywood names. After Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza is the latest Bollywood celebrity on the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) radar. Reportedly the actress could be summoned for questioning by the NCB soon.
As per recent reports, Dia’s name came while drug peddlers Ankush and Anuj Keshwani were being interrogated.
As reported by sources to India Today, Dia Mirza’s name came while drug peddlers Ankush and Anuj Keshwani were being interrogated. Sources revealed that Dia’s manager, who was drug peddler Anuj’s girlfriend, used to supply drugs to Dia, as per request.
Sources added that NCB has laid its hands on details of drugs purchased by Dia in 2019. In fact, the actress had also allegedly met the drug peddler once or twice. The NCB is likely to summon Dia’s manager first. They will reportedly summon the actress later.
Recently NCB WhatsApp chats exchanged between Deepika Padukone and Karishma, an employee of Kwan talent management agency, revealed that Karishma was procuring drugs for Deepika. The NCB has summoned Karishma Prakash, the manager of actor Deepika Padukone and Dhruv Chitgopekar, CEO of the talent agency. Reportedly they were questioned by the NCB on Tuesday afternoon.
Sources reveal that Deepika Padukone might also be summoned for questioning by the NCB.
Also, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Simmone Khambatta, Sara Ali Khan will be called for questioning. Their names too have cropped up while questioning.
