Aditya Narayan’s Controversial Moments That Left Everyone Shocked

Indian Idol 11 host and popular singer-actor, Aditya Narayan has always been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Aditya is known for getting himself embroiled in controversies as much as his singing and acting skills. Let’s take a look, when and how Aditya Narayan got himself embroiled in controversies over the years.

In 2011, Aditya was reportedly slapped by a woman in a pub after passing a nasty comment on her. An eyewitness had told Mid-Day, “Aditya passed a snide comment on a girl and was even falling over her. The mystery girl was with a bunch of buddies but she alone was more than a match for him. Before he knew it, she slapped him.”

However, Indian Idol 11 host constantly denied the fact and told the tabloid, “Do you think any girl can slap me and get away? Whoever this girl is, she is doing it just for publicity. She can say whatever she wants to. I would say she is very dumb.”

In 2017, Aditya had been in the news for abusing IndiGo airline staffer at Raipur airport when he was not allowed to excess baggage of 40 kg.

As per media reports, the airline staffer was asking him to pay Rs 13,000 for the access but Aditya had decided to pay only Rs 10,000. Well, post that, Aditya got into a verbal spat with the staffer and made a derogatory comment on the staffer which reads, “Mumbai pahunchne de, teri chaddi nahi utaari toh mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi (Let me reach Mumbai. If I don’t strip you, then my name is not Aditya Narayan).”

Aditya Was Arrested By Versova Police

In 2018, Aditya Narayan was arrested by the Versova Police for rash driving after he reportedly rammed his car into an autorickshaw which left driver and passenger badly injured. However, by the end of the day, Aditya granted bail with a fine of Rs 10,000.

As per media reports, Aditya came out of his Mercedes Benz and took both the injured persons to the hospital. The auto driver and passenger Rajkumar Baburao Palekar (64) sustained head injuries whereas onboard passenger Surekha Ankush Shivekar’s (32) left leg got fractured as the auto-rickshaw turned turtle after the accident.

“The autorickshaw driver and the passenger got injured in the accident. They have been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for treatment,” Zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Paramjit Singh Dahiya told Free Press Journal.

When Udit Naryan (Father of Aditya Narayan) was asked how does he feel when he makes headlines for the wrong reasons and embroils himself into controversies, he told Telly Chakkar, “I feel bad aur sochta hu ki baccha hai. Mane bol use ki Galtiya tum kar rahe ho, naam mera hi khabar ho raha hai. When accident took place I told him aab tum sambhalo. Kyunki mai madat karta rahunga, ye sikhega nahi, par usne sikha. I helped him in other ways by providing proper medication to the injured person in Ambani hospital. He made a mistake but he did make-up for it.”
