Actress Divvya Chouksey left for the heavenly abode on Sunday after losing a long battle against cancer. The actress had taken to social media a day before to talk about her medical condition.
In a note posted on her Instagram story, Divvya said, “Guys, I have been hospitalised, not in the state to even talk. My cancer is killing me. Pray for my easy passing. Sorry just unable to reply. love to all (sic).”
Her death was confirmed by her cousin, Soumya Amish Verma, on Facebook. He wrote, “Mujhe bade dukh ke saath yeh batana padh raha hai ki meri cousin Divvya Chouksey ka cancer ki wajah se bohot chhoti si umar mein aaj nidhan ho gaya hai (It is heartbreaking to inform you all that my cousin Divvya Chouksey died at a very young age due to cancer) (sic).”
Divya also shared another message in her Instagram stories stating that she was on her ‘deathbed’. She wrote, “Words cannot suffice what I want to convey, the more the less, since it’s been months am absconded and bombarded with Plethora of messages, it’s time I tell you guys, I’m on my deathbed. sh*t happens, I’m strong af. be there another life of non sufering. No questions please. only god knows how much you mean to Me (sic).”
TV actor Sahil Anand paid tribute to the late actress on Instagram. Sharing a photo of himself with Divvya, he wrote, “Ul be missed badly by ur bhaiya @divvyachouksey …. ur passion, ur dream, ur go getter attitude, ur positivity towards our industry was unmatched to anyone I have met but maybe god had some other plans for u …I m sure you are in a better place now and in peace …ur bhaiya loves you and will always love you ….I miss u DC ….you will always be alive in my memories and in my heart (sic).”
Divvya Chouksey has appeared in many ads and was also seen in the 2016 film, Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara.
