Actor Vijay Raaz Arrested By Gondia Police In Molesting Case

Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested by Gondia Police in a molestation case. The 57-year-old allegedly molested a woman crew member on the sets of the film ‘Sherni’in Madhya Pradesh. Vijay was arrested from a hotel in Gondia where the crew was staying.

ANI reported that Raaz was arrested yesterday. Speaking to ANI, Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia said, “Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested from Gondia yesterday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered.”

Kulkarni added An offence under section 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with an intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC was registered against Vijay Raaz.

As reported by sources to Indian Express, The woman approached the police with a complaint of molestation against the actor on Monday. She alleged that Vijay Raaz molested her during the shooting of the film Sherni in neighbouring Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday.

Reportedly, Vijay was arrested and produced before a court which granted him bail.

On the work front, Vijay Raaz was last seen in the comedy-drama ‘Lootcase’ and Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann starter ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ this year.
