The Accidental Prime Minister: From Manmohan Singh to Sonia Gandhi, who plays who
Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister which is based on former Indian Prime Minster, Manmohan Singh.
DNA quoted Kher saying that it has been “q great learning experience.One thing is sure ‘history will not misjudge you.”
The film is based on a book by Sanjaya Baru, who was a former media advisor to Manmohan Singh. Akshaye Khanna plays Baru, and Aahana Kumra plays Priyanka Gandhi while Arjun Mathur essays the role of Rahul Gandhi.
It is directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, along with Hansal Mehta as the creative producer. It is scripted by Mayank Tewari and produced by Bohra Bros, the film is slated to hit theatres on December 21.

Debutant actor Ram Avatar Bhardwaj will play former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’.
Actor Vimal Verma will essay the role of Lalu Prasad Yadav in the film.
Actor Divya Seth Shah plays the role of Manmohan Singh’s wife in The Accidental Prime Minister.
Navni Parihar plays Indira Gandhi.
Former President of Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi’s role will be played by German actress Suzanne Bernert.
