A day after Aamir Khan’s 56th birthday on March 14, the actor announced that he is quitting social media. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor shared an official statement as his last post and bid adieu to his followers and fans. He also thanked the fans for their love.
The ‘Lagaan’ actor wrote, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. In addition, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Here’s the official handle! @akppl_official Lots of love, always. a.”

The actor was last seen in a special song sequence titled, ‘Harr Funn Maula’ with Elli AvrRam from the film ‘Koi Jaane Na.’ On the work front, Aamir will next be seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which will release on Christmas this year, which is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name and will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan.
