Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha to release on Christmas 2020

Aamir Khan announced about his next film Laal Singh Chaddha this year on his 54th birthday. This is the most awaited project of Aamir. The film is set to release next year on Christmas. This news has been announced by the makers today. The movie is written by Atul Kulkarni. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the movie will be directed by Secret Superstar fame director Advait Chandan.

Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of American film Forrest Gump. The rights have been bought from Paramount Pictures. Aamir is on a proper diet now for his role. For his character, he will be wearing a turban in the movie and will shed 20 kilos for his role. There will be six-month preparations for his role. The movie will mostly be shot in North India in states like Punjab, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh.

Aamir’s last movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ released in Diwali, 2018 and it tanked at the box office. With Laal Singh Chaddha we hope that the movie receives good reviews and does well at the box office.  Luv Ranjan’s action-thriller with Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn might also release on Christmas 2020. So, in that case, both the movies will clash at the box office.
