During the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown, a lot of Bollywood celebs were seen opening up about dealing with depression. Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira now makes emotional confession with her fans about being clinically depressed. She shares a heartfelt post with her fans on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.
Ira Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared a video, where she could be seen revealing about being clinically depressed for last four years. She says that she has planned to share her journey from dealing with depression to now becoming better. “A lot has been going on, a lot of people have a lot to say. Things are really confusing and stressful and simple and okay but not okay and… life all together. There’s no way to say it all in one go. But I’d like to think I’ve figured some stuff out, or at least figured out how to make it slightly more understandable. About mental health and mental ill-health. So come with me on this journey… in my awkward, quirky, sometimes-baby-voice-y, as-honest-as-I-can-be… way. Let’s start a conversation. Happy World Mental Health Day,” she captioned her video post.
During the pandemic lockdown, Ira Khan was seen treating her fans with interesting posts on Instagram. Sharing her work mode pictures to sharing glimpse from her gym sessions, she has done it all.
On the work fronts, Ira made her directorial debut with a theatrical adaptation of Euripides’ Medea, which featured Hazel Keech in the titular role. It premiered in different cities across India in December last year.
