10 Dead Several Injured As Mini Bus Falls Into a Gorge In JK district Doda. PM Modi Announces Ex-Gratia
A minibus fell into a gorge in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. The shocking accident left more than 10 dead and many more injured. The shocking accident took place while the bus was on its way to Doda from Thathri. It suddenly rolled down into a deep gorge along with river Chenab on Thathri-Doda road near Sui Gwari.

The vehicle had turned turtle in the fields on the bank of river Chenab. Locals immediately swung into action and brought the victims.
As per the information provided by the Additional SP of Doda, the rescue operation is still underway. The injured persons have been sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the deaths in the road accident. An ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives, the injured would be given Rs 50,000, PMO said.

The cause of the accident is yet to be known.
