RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s net worth nears $100 billion

Reliance Industries Limited Chairman, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth records a new peak since past one weak. He has now become the first Indian to have reached near $100 billion net worth clubs. Over past few days, Ambani’s net worth recorded a significant growth after the rapid increase in the shares prices of his company Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). On Monday (September 6), RIL share price hit a 52-week highest with Rs. 2480 per share. The rapid surge in his share prices recorded a profit rise of $15.9 billion this week.

According to a report by Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth recorded a sharp spike taking his wealth count to $92.6 billion after the upside rally for Reliance shares this week. The shares of his flagship firm surged after he doubled down on his clean-energy goals. He has now become the Asia’s wealthiest person nearing his wealth to the $100 billion clubs.

Currently, Mukesh Ambani remains at the 11th position in the list of the world’s richest people. RIL Chairman is behind Warren Buffett, whose net worth is $102.6 billion. The market cap Reliance has crossed Rs. 15 lakh crore mark this week becoming the biggest gainer on the Sensex index. Reliance is the first company in the country to achieve this level of market capitalization.
