Navarasa trailer: Mani Ratnam's Anthology Promises a Roller Coaster Ride of Emotions
The much-awaited trailer of Netflix’s Tamil anthology Navarasa has finally been released by the makers. The nine-part Tamil anthology is spearheaded by living legend Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. It is based on the nine rasas or human emotions. From anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace to wonder.

Navarasa trailer opens with Suriya delivering dialogue about a girl that he has met. We also see a glimpse of Arvind Swamy and Prasanna. It seems to be a sci-fi thriller. One of the stories deals with the Sri Lankan Tamil conflict. The trailer of Navarasa shows all 9 emotions from love to death.
Navarasa features Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Siddharth, Prakash Raj, Saravanan. Also Alagam Perumal, Revathy, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Aishwarya Rajessh. Directors Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, Karthick Naren. Also, KV Anand, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad and Halitha Shameem have joined hands to bring their perspectives on each rasa. AR Rahman and D Imman, Ghibran are also part of the venture. The earnings from the film will be used to help those who have been impacted during the Covid-19 induced lockdown.
Navarasa will start streaming on Netflix on August 6.
