On Sunday i.e July 25, Indian junior wrestler Priya Malik bagged the gold medal in the 73kg category at the Cadet World Championship which took place in Budapest (Hungary). This Cadet World Championship is a tournament where the “best Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women wrestlers” worldwide below the age of 17 compete with each other. Alongside celebrating because of the Indian players performing well at the Tokyo Olympics, Malik gives Indians yet another reason to celebrate with her victory.

Priya wins gold right after a weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won the silver medal in the women’s 49kg category in Tokyo Olympics.
