Delhi Unlock: Spas, Movie Theaters And Multiplexes To Re-open From Monday 

After imposing strict lockdown restrictions to curb the outspread of pandemic Coronavirus, Delhi to now step into unlocking phases. According to the latest report, from Monday i.e July 26, the theaters, multiplexes, spas, metro trains to re-open for the public and these services will be available for 100 per cent hosting. On the other side, the education and coaching institutes remain under the category of prohibited. Buses will be allowed to host 100 % seating as well, according to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority’s (DDMA) order issued on Saturday.

For the unversed, Delhi imposed the complete lockdown during April 19 and May 30, when it recorded peaking COVID-19 cases. The city had started unlocking as per phases, wherein it allowed the factories within industrial areas and construction activities to resume working. On June 7, markets, malls and the Delhi Metro services were allowed to open at 50% capacity and from June 14, the 50% cap was removed in case of markets and malls.

“It has been observed that the number of Covid-19 patients and the positivity rate has declined considerably and the overall situation has improved,” the DDMA order said.

“It is further directed that the market trade associations, banquet halls, marriage hall associations, gymnasiums and Yoga institute association, other trade associations and resident welfare associations shall also be responsible for ensuring compliance of Covid appropriate behaviors by all shops, malls, markets, market complexes, offices, weekly markers, clinic, banquet halls/marriage halls and residents within their respective areas,” according to the order.

As of by Friday i.e July 23, Delhi apparently reported one death related to Covid-19 and 58 fresh infections.
