Confirmed: Hrithik Roshan & Saif Ali Khan In Vikram Vedha Remake

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the Hindi remake of the acclaimed Tamil film Vikram Vedha. The movie will be directed by the makers of the original film, Pushkar-Gayathri. The film is slated to hit the theatres on September 30, 2022.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirming the news tweeted,

As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “The makers have decided to release Vikram Vedha remake on September 30, 2022. The film goes on floors soon and the team of the film is confident that it’ll be ready by then. Also, it’s a great date since Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and Dussehra (October 5) both fall in the release week. This would ensure healthy footfalls translating into superb box office numbers.”

The original version featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi and went on to mint at the box office. The 2017 release was all about a cop who is trying to catch a criminal and what happens next.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan has Siddharth Anand’s action flick Fighter in his kitty. The movie features Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. Saif Ali Khan will next be seen in Bhoot Police. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
