Sanya Malhotra & Rajkummar Rao To Star in Hindi Remake Of Telugu Film Hit
Sanya Malhotra Joins Rajkummar Rao For Hindi Remake Of Telugu Telugu cop thriller HIT (Homicide Intervention Team)
Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the Hindi remake of Telugu cop thriller HIT (Homicide Intervention Team). The 2020 cop thriller HIT stands for Homicide Intervention Team. The Telugu film HIT starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles. It is the story of a policeman who is on the trail of a missing woman. The Hindi film will also be helmed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who directed the Telugu original.
Currently in pre-production stage, the film will go on floors soon. Sanya took to social media to express her delight on being part of the film. The actress shared a photo of herself and wrote, “So happy to join the #HIT team! Looking forward to this one! (sic).”
She added, “I have watched HIT and I really liked the concept of the film. When the film was offered to me, I immediately said yes. I am looking forward to this one & excited to work with Raj.”

HIT is bankrolled by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore. The movie is a massive investigative franchise down south, and the makers are planning to give the Hindi remake a similar spin.
On the work front, Sanya Malhotra will next star in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, co-starring Abhimanyu Dassani and produced by Karan Johar. She will also appear in Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming home production Love Hostel, along with Bobby Deol and Vikrant Massey.
