Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Ranveer- Alia Introduce Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi

On the occasion of Ranveer Singh’s 36th Birthday today, Karan Johar made the announcement of his upcoming directorial- Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The romantic film to co-star Ranveer and Alia Bhatt alongside Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. After unleashing the motion poster for the film, the lead actors introduce Dharmendra, Jaya and Shabana as their onscreen family.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s second-time collaboration after Gully Boy. And Karan Johar will direct Ranveer for the first time. Film critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and shared a new video, wherein Ranveer and Alia can be heard introducing the new cast as their family.

Reportedly, the three veteran actors have a prominent part in Karan Johar’s directorial comeback. While much is not revealed about Ranveer and Alia’s character, the plot is apparently set in the backdrop of a mature love story and the love triangle between Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
