Bell Bottom’: Akshay Kumar Announces New Release Date

Superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing for the release of his upcoming spy drama Bell Bottom. The actor has made an announcement on Tuesday, that has created a buzz on social media. He has shared the release date of his film with a short intriguing teaser. Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film is all set for a theatrical release. The film, which was supposed to release on May 28th, will now hit the cinema halls on July 27.

Akshay took to his social media handles and sharing a clip of his character wrote, “I know you have patiently waited for the release of #Bellbottom. Couldn’t be happier to finally announce the release of our film. Arriving on the big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July.”

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, ‘Bell Bottom’ is an espionage saga set in the 1980s. It was the first film to start and finish its shoot amid the pandemic. Vaani Kapoor plays the leading lady opposite Akshay in this film. ‘‘Bell Bottom’ also features Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. The team had wrapped the film in October 2020 and ‘Bell Bottom’ was announced for release on April 2. However, due to the second wave of Covid-19, the movie couldn’t hit the screens. It will now release in theatres on July 27.

on the work front, Akshay Kumar also has Atrangi Re’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Ram Setu’, and ‘Prithviraj in his kitty.
