Bollywood handsome hunk, Aamir Khan will have a faceoff with former world champion and chess grandmaster, Viswanathan Anand. The two of the superstars from different fields will play against each other to raise funds for a charitable cause. The game event has been titled, Checkmate COVID and it aims at raising funds to help the needy during these challenging times.
All the proceeds of this event would go towards serving individuals and families from vulnerable communities, wherein the families are affected due to the pandemic Coronavirus outspread. The chess match between Aamir and Anand is slated to take place on June 13, 2021 at 5 pm. The event will also be live-streamed for the social media audience.

This would not be the first time Aamir Khan and Viswanathan Anand would have a chess faceoff. Earlier too they had an opportunity to play a game against each other. Reportedly, the Laal Singh Chaddha fame is always enthusiast about playing chess.
