On June 1st last year, Wajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid duo passed away. On 31 May 2020, he was urgently taken to the hospital with serious complications of COVID-19 and died one day later on 1 June 2020 after suffering a heart attack. His demise came as a shock and the Bollywood fraternity extended their tribute and condolences to the composer’s family soon after the singer passed away.

Sajid-Wajid made their entry into the world of Bollywood in 1998 with Salman Khan’s ‘Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya’ and ever since have wholeheartedly contributed to the music industry. Ever since the musician’s demise last year, his brother Sajid Khan has continued his solo career in the industry.
