Anupam Kher shares Kirron’s health update, says Robert De Niro checks up her

On April 1, Anupam Kher issued a statement confirming that his wife and veteran actress-politician Kirron Kher is suffering from multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The actor often shares an update on his wife’s health. Now, in an interview, he said that her health is improving. He also shared that his ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ co-star Robert De Niro checks up on her.

Talking to the Times Of India, Anupam Kher said that Kirron’s health is improving. He said that the treatment is tough and she often says that the lockdown and COVID situation has made things hard. He said that Kirron is on her way to better health and is holding up fine.

Further, he said there are days when Kirron is positive and then there are days when the chemotherapy affects her state in many ways. “We are all trying our best and she is doing it, too. The doctors do their job, but you have to keep your mental state strong to get past such a difficult treatment. She is making every effort towards that, and so are we.”

Lastly, he said that Robert messaged him after learning about Kirron’s health. He had also sent him a video to wish me on his birthday, and also keeps checking on Kirron’s health every few days.

Last month, Kirron Kher and Anupam Kher also got their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The actor took to his Instagram handle to shared photos and videos of the same.
