Neliima Azeem REVEALS Pankaj Kapur left when Shahid Kapoor was 3.5 years old
Neliima Azeem opened up on her divorce with Pankaj Kapur and said that he left when their son Shahid Kapoor was 3.5 years old.
Neliima Azeem tied the knot to actor Pankaj Kapur in 1979. They were settled in New Delhi where they had their first child Shahid Kapoor in 1981. Later, the couple divorced in 1984. Now, in an interview, the actress opened up on her divorce and revealed that they parted ways when their son Shahid was 3.5 years old.

Neliima Azeem told Bollywood Bubble that Shahid Kapoor was very young, he was three and a half years old. Shahid was born in Delhi while she was staying with her parents because Pankaj Kapur had left her and shifted to Mumbai before they know that she had conceived. She said that Pankaj wanted to try his luck in films and TV and she supported him because she thought he is a very talented and young man.
The actress said that she was taken care of by her parents and my brother throughout her pregnancy. Later when Shahid was born, they stayed with her parents at their residence. She revealed that she never had a home with Pankaj and Shahid was used to staying with her family in Delhi.
Neliima Azeem raised her son Shahid as a single parent. Later, she tied the knot with actor Rajesh Khattar, however, they got divorced in the year 2001. The duo also has a son Ishaan Khatter, who is also an actor now.
