Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have reinitiated talks for Izhaar. The plot is about an Indian guy who cycles to Norway for his love
Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan fans have been eagerly waiting for updates about his upcoming films. He was seen in Zero and his upcoming- Pathan is one of the highly anticipated movies in B-town. SRK is yet again garnering the attention because Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to have initiated talks with Shah Rukh Khan for Izhaar.
Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier collaborated for Devdas, which also starred Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit in prominent roles. After the success of the family drama, the actor-director’s duo was rumored to be collaborating all over again, however, nothing was officially announced for years. According to the latest reports, SLB is keen on putting back one of his romantic sagas on the floor soon. Bollywood Hungama reported hearing that the director approached SRK with another version of a script he had written for Izhaar.
The outlet has quoted the source, “Izhaar was a film that Bhansali wanted to do with SRK around four years ago. It’s a love story revolving around this couple – an Indian man and a Norwegian girl. It’s based on the real-life story of the guy who cycled all the way to Norway for love. Bhansali wanted to adapt that into a screenplay and has reworked the script again for SRK’s perusal. Now it needs to be seen if Shah Rukh green lights it this time around.”
For the unversed, SRK will be seen sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Siddharth Anand’s directorial-Pathan. Reportedly, this one also features Salman Khan in a cameo role.
