Adipurush: Kiccha Sudeep to be a part of Prabhas starrer?

Adipurush is one of the highly-anticipated period drama films. It is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, will see Prabhas play the role of Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Ravan, and Kriti Sanon as Sita. Now, according to the latest reports, South star Kiccha Sudeep is slated to be a part of the mythological film.

According to a report in Tollywood.Net, Kiccha Sudeep will play a crucial role in the film. The actor will be seen in the role of Vibhishana, the brother of Ravana in Adipurush. However, an official announcement is yet to be made by the makers.

For the film, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan have undergone a remarkable physical transformation. Director Om Raut told The Times of India. “There is a lot of work that is going on. Saif and Prabhas have undergone a remarkable physical transformation and there is massive action involved too. There is a lot of physical transformation that Prabhas has undergone from an artiste’s point of view and he continues to work on it even now as we shoot. With Saif Ali Khan, it is evident in the pictures, but I cannot reveal much.”

The director also said that the team has finished 30% of the film and is also following strict Coronavirus protocols on the set.

Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film is scheduled for theatrical release along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and other languages on 11 August 2022. The film is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles.
