Manchester United vs Liverpool Game Postponed After Fan Protest
Manchester United vs Liverpool game officially postponed after Glazers protests at Old Trafford
Manchester United’s Premier League game against Liverpool was postponed on Sunday. The incident took place after thousands of fans broke into Old Trafford and protested against the Glazer family on the pitch. The Americans were under fire in the wake of their failed European Super League plot. The Glazers, have declined to engage with fans since buying United in 2005 in a leveraged takeover.
Manchester United fans turned up at the stadium for a demonstration against the Glazer family, leading to the game being postponed.
“This is a collective decision from the police, both clubs, the Premier League and local authorities.”
